Photographing twin is always a double challenge, but these two sweet girls literally slept through their entire session! Thankfully, I had my friend and fellow Orangeville Photographer, Jessica from Dutch Touch Photography, with me to help me out. With two babies sometimes two hands just isn't quite enough! We did this session close to Christmas so among my other setups I had to bring out my favourite Baby in Vogue Reindeer bonnets. The result? Double the adorable <3
Baby Hazel came to see me in my studio just outside of Orangeville, Ontario, just one day before Easter so I couldn't resist doing some gorgeous spring setups! This sweet girl was an angel for her session. Slept so peacefully the whole time and gave me the most amazing expressions too. We had fun working some of her family's special things into the session, which is always something I like to do whenever possible. I love coming up with creative ways to express each family's personality and interests. Also, I just have to say, I really thought my new studio space was so small that I would find it difficult to use, but I'm loving it! It's so cozy and it stays so nice and warm for the wee ones. So far the babies I've photographed here have all slept like angels! Oh, and I've even included a sweet little video for you guys because really, the cuteness was just killing me!
I can't believe it's already been a year since I was lucky enough to photograph this sweet little man as a newborn! One of my favourite things about my job is seeing my newborns come back again and again and getting to watch them grow. It's so fun to see how their little personalities develop. I especially appreciate clients who make a bit of a drive to get here. Little C's mom come all the way to Orangeville from Cambridge for his session!
We had lots of fun with baby C. He was so happy and laid back and especially enjoyed splashing around in the tub to clean up afterward :)
It's always such a joy to have families come back to me year after year, I love following them as they grow and change. I've been photographing Baby M's family since his big sister was just a baby herself and it was so special to see her embrace her role as big sister so enthusiastically. In fact, Mom and Dad waited to let her hold her baby brother for the first time until I was there with the camera. What an amazing moment! I don't think I've ever seen such a proud big sister <3
