Sweet Baby L came to see me for her newborn pictures in the evening. I normally do newborn sessions in the morning so I wasn't sure how it would go. I didn't know if the time of day would affect how much she slept, how often she wanted to eat, etc. As it turned out, I worried for no reason. This beautiful little one slept the ENTIRE session! Plus the weather cooperated beautifully which allowed for us to do something we very rarely get to do here in Ontario, take some newborn pictures outside! Baby L is the only baby I've photographed outside since we moved to Orangeville, but now, with our new property, and the warm summer weather, I'm hoping to get the chance to do it more often.
Photographing twin is always a double challenge, but these two sweet girls literally slept through their entire session! Thankfully, I had my friend and fellow Orangeville Photographer, Jessica from Dutch Touch Photography, with me to help me out. With two babies sometimes two hands just isn't quite enough! We did this session close to Christmas so among my other setups I had to bring out my favourite Baby in Vogue Reindeer bonnets. The result? Double the adorable <3
I can't believe it's already been a year since I was lucky enough to photograph this sweet little man as a newborn! One of my favourite things about my job is seeing my newborns come back again and again and getting to watch them grow. It's so fun to see how their little personalities develop. I especially appreciate clients who make a bit of a drive to get here. Little C's mom come all the way to Orangeville from Cambridge for his session!
We had lots of fun with baby C. He was so happy and laid back and especially enjoyed splashing around in the tub to clean up afterward :)
It's always such a joy to have families come back to me year after year, I love following them as they grow and change. I've been photographing Baby M's family since his big sister was just a baby herself and it was so special to see her embrace her role as big sister so enthusiastically. In fact, Mom and Dad waited to let her hold her baby brother for the first time until I was there with the camera. What an amazing moment! I don't think I've ever seen such a proud big sister <3
