So, who am I really?  Who is this person most often identified by the huge camera and bag of equipment as “THE PHOTOGRAPHER” and why should you care anyway?  Well, as they say, first things first.  I am a Orangeville dwelling, West Coast, American girl at heart.  I love the rain and I think the Oregon Coast is the most beautiful place in the world.  I am a devotee of chocolate and Mexican food.  A good book can be my best friend.  I don’t claim to be graceful, in fact I can be downright klutzy, but I live by grace.  My family and friends mean the world to me.  I am the mom of three amazing little people who inspire me every day.  I am addicted to creating things; cupcakes, crafts, clothing, and of course photographs.  I am inspired by beautiful light, great architecture, summer wheat-fields, stark landscapes, and brilliant colours, and most of all by the people I photograph; people who love each other, people who love life, people who love to be spontaneous and who aren’t afraid to be themselves, quirks and all.

I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a masters degree in Photography but I still love to learn.  Maybe it’s the teacher in me, but I take classes whenever I can and I’m always looking for ways to push

myself and my craft.  People come to me from all over the GTA.  I've had clients drive to my Orangeville studio from Toronto, Brampton, Tottenham, Cambridge, even Kitchener.  Knowing that people trust me and my work enough to drive such distances to see me pushes me to work even harder to be worthy of that trust.

So why should you care?  You are hiring someone to document some of your most important moments.  Whether it is newborn photography, baby pictures, a cake smash, or family portraits, you want the experience to be stress free and hopefully even fun.  You want it to be a great memory of those first days with your baby or of a great time together as a family.  What better way to ensure that happens than to feel comfortable with the person you hire?  If all this sounds good to you, then you are the kind of customer I would love to work with.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
